Navigation SW Modules
We offer custom SW development services for OEM car navigation systems. We have developed SW modules which has been successfully running in Mercedes-Benz, BMW and VW cars for years.
- HMI: display graphical user interface to control the navigation system easily
- Map Rendering: visualize map data, route, and traffic information graphically in nice 2D or 3D views
- Destination Input: search a route destination as an address or as a point of interest
Navigation Data Standard (NDS)
NDS is the automotive industry standard for storing map data developed by the NDS Association, a consortium of the leading car manufactures and their suppliers. We've been supporting the NDS Association and its members since 2011.
We offer development of core NDS tools for flexible definition of data model optimized for storing map data on embedded devices and for effective transfer of dynamic map data from cloud services.
- Zserio: generate read/write Java, C++, and Python APIs and HTML documentation from the data model - see Zserio project
- NDS SQLite: store map data in car sub-systems in effective and secure way - see SQLite open-source project
- NDS OpenDRIVE Converter: convert map data between NDS and OpenDRIVE format used for various simulation use cases - see ASAM OpenDRIVE standard
Performance Optimization of Navigation SW
We offer automotive OEMs and tier 1 suppliers to identify and analyze performance issues of the car navigation SW module. We develop tools for logging on the embedded target systems and offline analysis of performance issues on PC.
